Both are gems that are rarely mentioned in guidebooks, but offer the elegant flavor of sweet red bean paste that is typical of Kyoto. When the seal at the tip is removed, the pulled yokan comes out smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The taste is full of azuki beans and its gentle sweetness fills the mouth. The sweetness is not too strong nor too light, light and perfect for a hot day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the shelf life is short, requiring refrigeration for 3 days, it is recommended for those who can eat it at their lodgings or home on the evening of purchase, or for those who can give the gift immediately after returning home. If you purchase several at once as a gift, such as a pack of 8 or 10, you can have them placed in a stylish bamboo basket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, orthodox yokan is also available, in three flavors: azuki, red, and tea.
