Kyoto" attracts tourists from all over the world.
Shrines and temples are expected to attract many visitors during the early summer season as well.
There are several such spots in Kyoto that are recommended to visit in early summer.
In hidden cafes and hole-in-the-wall spots, there are fewer people than in famous tourist spots, so you can stroll around a little more slowly.
We encourage you to visit at least once during the early summer season.
1. Kiyotaki River, a recommended sightseeing spot in early summer in Kyoto.
○○Details
The Kiyotaki River is secretly becoming popular as a spot for early summer.
The Kiyotaki River is a first-class river, a tributary of the Katsura River in the Yodo River system that flows through Kita and Ukyo wards of Kyoto City.
With its tranquil atmosphere, crystal clear clear water, and great family river trips, it is a great place to blow off the early summer heat.
It is one of the best places in Kyoto to listen to the soothing streams, play in the shallow waters of the river, or go hiking as a summer getaway.
Genji fireflies can also be seen in early June and July.
Cool off in the river and see fantastic fireflies in the vicinity.

Kyoto Botanical Garden
○○Details
The Kyoto Botanical Garden in Kyoto is full of nature and history.
With a total floor space of approximately 4,694 square meters, it is a large botanical garden where visitors can fully enjoy a day of leisurely strolling.
In early summer, deep green trees, sunflowers, pumpkins, tropical fruits, lotus flowers, and many other flowers are visible.
Some places are a little hot and humid, but some areas are cooler in the shade of the trees, so I recommend taking a leisurely stroll.
Once you step into the botanical garden, you will feel excited as if you have entered some jungle or forest.

○○Details
Gioji Temple is located in Okusaga, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto.
A Buddhist temple of the Daikakuji school of Shingon Buddhism, this temple is known as the nun temple of the tragic love story of "The Tale of the Heike" in Okusaga, Kyoto.
It is said that Gion, who was loved by Taira no Kiyomori, entered the temple with his family and spent time here due to a change of heart. The moss garden and bamboo grove create a fantastic atmosphere surrounded by greenery.
The early summer season is especially green and the temperature is a bit cooler.
The large round window in the antechamber of the hermitage is called "Yoshino-mado," or "rainbow window," because the sunlight shining through the green leaves of the precincts here is famous for reflecting a variety of colors on the shoji screens.
Please also take a look at the fantastic rainbow-colored scenery.
