Shopping in Kyoto】【Shopping in Kyoto】【Rain OK】Introducing commercial facilities full of Kyoto-like atmosphere.

KYOTREAT Editors
Kyoto on a rainy day is also very picturesque, but sightseeing while worrying about getting your feet wet can be a bit depressing. In the rainy season, of course, but also in mid-summer, Kyoto can suddenly have heavy rain like a squall, so it is important to know where you can enjoy the feeling of traveling even inside buildings.
Therefore, we would like to introduce two commercial facilities that we recommend you to visit on rainy days. You can buy stylish items not sold at souvenir shops near tourist attractions or take a break at café spaces. If rain is forecast on the day you visit Kyoto on your trip, please take a look at them.

■ Summary

GOOD NATURE STATION

GOOD NATURE STATION" is a commercial facility located about a one-minute walk south from Exit 4 of Hankyu Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. It is characterized by a stately yet natural atmosphere, and the upper floors are used as a hotel. Even those who are not staying at the hotel can use the 1st to 3rd floors, and locals also come to shop at the market on the 1st floor.

If you are shopping, you should check out "NEMOHAMO," which sells cosmetics made with only natural ingredients, and "KA SO KE KI," which offers calatries and accessories. The many original products on display will remind you of the fun you had on your trip to Kyoto every time you use them.

The natural deli "KITCHEN" on the first floor offers dishes using Kyoto ingredients and processed foods available at the market. We recommend visiting for lunch as well, as the food menu is full of seasonal ingredients and soups that focus on reducing food loss.

SUINA Muromachi

SUINA Muromachi" is located near exit 26 of Hankyu Karasuma Station and Shijo Subway Station. It is a nice point to be able to access without getting wet in the rain. The exterior of the restaurant is designed to look as if it is covered with a sudare (bamboo drapes), giving it a Kyoto-like appearance.

A feature of the store is that it carries many guidebooks on Kyoto that can only be found in Kyoto. The facility houses "Ogaki Bookstore," which operates stores mainly in Kyoto City, and has a wide range of colorful photo books and books with the latest information that will surprise even Kyoto enthusiasts.

There is also a food court and a store corner where you can have lunch and buy souvenirs. With easy access to the nearest train station and bus stop, it is also a good place to take shelter from the rain when it suddenly starts to rain.
