Gion Tsujiri is a long-established shop that specializes in Uji matcha, which is well known throughout Japan. The shop is frequented by many tourists, and you can always find a long line of people waiting in line on weekends.
Here, we offer a variety of ways to enjoy matcha, from Uji matcha sweets to simple yet exceptional teas.
Saryo Tsujiri on the 2nd and 3rd floors offers not only typical sweets such as parfaits, but also light meals such as soba noodles, etc. The 1st floor also offers take-out, so feel free to stop by and enjoy a green tea drink in between sightseeing tours.
