Kyo no Jidoriya Akira is located near the intersection of Gokomachi-dori and Nishiki-koji-dori where Nishiki Market is located. You can enjoy dishes made with Kyoto jidori-ya (Kyoto local chicken) in a cozy, old-family-style restaurant. Business hours are divided into lunch and dinner hours, so you can visit the restaurant according to your own travel plans.

For lunch, we recommend the set menu. The main dish consists of fried chicken, soaked vegetables, miso soup, and white rice, and is reasonably priced and will fill you up. There are also dishes such as oyakodon and yakitori donburi that allow you to fill your mouth with juicy chicken meat, allowing you to enjoy all the deliciousness of Kyojidori chicken.

If you are planning to visit in the evening, check out the all-you-can-drink course! You can enjoy skewers grilled slowly over binchotan charcoal, grilled chicken thighs with salt, and other dishes that allow you to enjoy the flavor of the ingredients. Chicken Corolla is a five-minute walk from Hankyu Karasuma Station and Shijo Subway Station. Tucked away in a residential area lined with Kyomachiya houses and condominiums, the restaurant is bustling with the sounds of frying toriten (chicken tempura) and the voices of customers. The restaurant's commitment is to use chicken pulled in the morning every day and serve it in its most delicious state.

Recommended for lunch is the all-you-can-eat lunch of Kyo-aka Jidori chicken tempura, where you can eat up to 30 pieces of toriten. Several seasonings such as salt and shichimi (seven spices) are also included, allowing you to enjoy the taste of Kyo-ochi chicken with different flavors. The batter is crispy and the meat is juicy, making the toriten an exquisite dish!

At night, the restaurant offers a full banquet menu, with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink course starting at 3,500 yen. You can choose either lava-roasted or yuzu nabe for the main course, and enjoy Kyoto Jidori chicken with your favorite seasoning. A la carte dishes such as chicken cutlet and kimchi stir-fry are also abundant, so you are sure to be very satisfied.
